Taking the first step...

If we'd all like to refer back to my Feb. 15 post for a moment.

So, I have moved off of the "Island" to a place that offers more $$ for work and housing is about the same. We will all look back at this moment, in about 3 years time, as being a defining moment in a person's Ferrari ownership ambitions. Predicting the future is something that I am gifted with. But this is so easy, it doesn't need extraordinary gifts to come to the same conclusion.

I could obtain a F355 for about $60k..... should I consider increasing my goal from a 348?

Food for thought.

Ferrari account is growing....

Just thought I would give all you keen blog readers an update on the Ferrari account. As of today we are up to $478.97. Cracking the half century mark will be quite exciting. We are now only about 79/80 away from a used 348 TB.

As ususal, I'll keep you posted.

Another one bites the dust.

Does anyone know Daniel Sadek's email address or phone number?

I would be more than willing to take his now smashed Enzo off his hands.

By the way, Eddie Griffin should be charged with some sort of crime against humanity for distroying such a piece of art.

Perpetual Motion Machine

I've decided to attempt to build a perpetual motion machine. It should be able to produce at least 150% output from input. My plan is simply to research other people's machines and build them for myself. Building a working perpetual motion machine will not only bring me riches beyond my wildest dreams, it will change the course of history as we know it.

I am not intimidated.

It's funny because it's not mine.

Special thanks to Craig for the funny pic...

So, its almost 3am...

My throat is really sore. It reminds me of the time I had strep throat. It seems worse because I'm sitting at work at 2:30 in the morning. Sore throats always seem worse at 2:30am when your at work.

Perhaps opening a Church of Scientology in PEI could be a big money source? Crazy people love to give their money away to their church. Am I on to something, or is it the exhaustion setting in?

Behold, Minister Younker, Church of Scientology........

Ok, lets get serious.

I've been doing some online IQ tests lately, and they have determined that I am gifted with intelligence. So, lets figure out the best way to get a Ferrari.

In order to "buy" a Ferrari, a lot of money is required.
Most people get money from their job.
If, your job doesn't pay very well, you should be looking for a new job.
If, their aren't any new jobs where you live, you can do two things.

1) Move somewhere there are better paying jobs and cost of living is low.
2) "Create" your own job in your area. Most likely by starting a business.

Of these two options, the second is the most feasible.

So I need small business ideas that work in other places that have yet to be brought to PEI.

I need your suggestions, please!

Lotteries

I am a huge lottery advocate. This is one of my longest running attempts at Ferrari ownership.

Alas, so far it has not paid off. Perhaps I'm not buying enough tickets?

Food for thought...

Background time

OK, by now you're all wondering why I don't just go out and buy a Ferrari, right?

I should let you know what I'm up against...

I figure I will need a minimum of $40000 to purchase an acceptable, working Ferrari.
So far I have approximately $260 saved toward this purchase.

I know what your thinking, "this guy has no money, or a job and he's probably like 13 years old".
Not the case. I only save what money I get from non-job related sources. I work two jobs, that both pay poorly, but those paychecks go towards the usual things like mortgage, bills, rrsp's, etc.

So far the best non-job money source I've found have been coin collection. Meaning I don't spend any change, I simply roll it all.

I am open for any non-job income ideas or suggestions you may have.

Initial Post

This is my first blog post.

A few years from now we'll look back and see that this is how it all got started.

So, I'd like to thank those in the future that will contribute to my wealth and for helping me obtain my first Ferrari. You may not know who you are yet, but someday you will.
